Hello! Welcome to my blog.
My name is Chris Martino. I’m no stranger to the internet or blogging. In fact, I started blogging before “blogging” was what it was called. If you know where to look, and look hard enough, you’ll find my thoughts and online ramblings from as far back as 1998.
I took a hiatus. A very long hiatus. A nearly 10 year hiatus, plus or minus a few years. I’m back now, though. Why? Because I think I thought I saw you cry. Seriously, though, I’m returning to blogging because I think I have something to say, and I think others might actually find value in it. Maybe not much, but if one person reads this blog and says “Hey! That was really helpful! Thanks!”, then I’ll consider it a success.
What do I have to say? Who knows. I’ve been working for over 10 years in the technology industry in one capacity or another. I might have a few things to say about that from time to time.
I also picked up a nice camera a few years ago and started taking photographs. Some people have told me my photographs are nice, even without my prodding. Posting my photographs online has given me pretty good exposure, and even caused me a few problems. I will probably have a few things to say about that too.
So, what do I plan on offering you, my readers? Simple. I plan on offering you at least 3 posts per week. Most of the time those posts will be simple “photoblog” posts, which just consists of one of my photographs. At least once a month I will post an article of some sort, whether it be technology or photography related. That means you can expect a minimum of 12 posts per month, with at least 1 of those being something more than just a photo.
